Help Us Donate $10,000 to Make-A-Wish Canada AND Enter Mastermind Toys’ $1000 Shopping Spree!!!!

If you’re a regular Mastermind shopper in the GTA, then you are probably familiar with our “Be A Star” campaign that we run every year. This is Be A Star’s 10^th year and so far we and our generous customers have donated over $800,000 to local children’s charities.

This year we had the idea to bring part of the program online for those of you who don’t live in the Greater Toronto Area, or Burlington or London, Ontario.  You can help us raise $10,000 to give to Make-A-Wish® Canada.

If you’re not familiar with Make-A-Wish, it “grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, joy and strength.”

“With the help of generous donors and more than 30,000 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted more than 250,000 wishes worldwide since inception.”

There is a national office located in Toronto, and seven regional chapter offices throughout Canada.

How to Help: To help us donate $10,000 to Make-A-Wish, the most important thing to do is like our Facebook page. If you’re already a fan, not to worry, we’re donating $0.50 for every fan we already have as of October 31^st, 2011. To help us reach our target of donating $10,000 to Make-A-Wish, make sure you tell your friends, family and neighbours about our goal and encourage them to sign up too!

We have lots of fun on our Facebook page and have a group of awesome fans already. We use our page to bring you sneak peeks at new toys to the market, new lines in already popular toys. We post links to coupons and special online only promotions we’re running. We also host lots of great giveaways and contests.

But we at Mastermind like our customers and Facebook fans so much, that we thought we’d like to give something to you, our loyal fans too! So, we’re having a draw for a $1000 shopping spree at Mastermind Toys! You heard me: $1000. To. Spend. At.  Mastermind Toys. One lucky person will win this prize! Don’t live near a Mastermind?
